"Tortoise & Hare" 5K Run ^™

Firethorne Kindles the Spirit of Community by sponsoring such charitable events as the June 27 "Tortoise & Hair" 5K/1M Run/Walk benefiting the National Alopecia Areata Foundation.  FOX 26 Television Reporter Patty Shieh recently came out to Firethorne to interview the two area families chairing the race, Jennifer and Jeff Magee, with their daughter, Elizabeth, and Beverly Tucker and her son, Jonathan.  Both children have the autoimmune disease that causes severe hair loss. The Tuckers are residents of Firethorne.
